Terms of service

These terms apply when you use fibreonline.com.au or buy from FibreOnline. "FibreOnline", "we" and "us" mean RJJ Trading Pty Ltd. By placing an order you agree to them. Please read them together with our Shipping policy, Refund policy and Privacy policy.

1. Who we are

FibreOnline is operated by RJJ Trading Pty Ltd (ABN 91 168 542 550), 52 Parkland Rd, Carlingford NSW 2118, Australia. Email info@fibreonline.com.au, phone +61 498 709 280.

2. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't be excluded. Where these terms seem to conflict with those rights, those rights apply.

3. Accounts and trade accounts

You're responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your login secure.
Trade accounts are for businesses with a valid ABN. We review applications and may approve or decline them. Trade pricing applies to approved accounts only.
We may change trade pricing levels from time to time. Prices already confirmed in a paid order or a current quote won't change.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless we say otherwise.
Payment is due in full when you order. We don't take deposits, and we don't add card surcharges.
If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price, we'll contact you before dispatch. You can then pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Orders

The email you receive after checkout confirms we've received your order. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable, a price is wrong or we suspect fraud. If we do, we'll tell you and refund anything you've paid in full.

6. Quotes and price-on-request products

Quotes are valid for 14 days unless the quote says otherwise, and are based on the information you give us. Price-on-request products are supplied at the price in your quote.

7. Custom cables and made-to-order products

Custom cables are made to the design you submit, including fibre, connectors, polarity, length and labels. Please check your design carefully before you approve it.
We check every design within 1 business day of order and will contact you if anything looks wrong. This check doesn't replace your own.
Once production has started, a custom or made-to-order item can't be cancelled for a change of mind. If it doesn't match the design you approved, or it's faulty, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply.
Drawings and spec sheets are to help you specify and install the cable. Performance figures are typical values unless a test result is supplied.

8. Delivery

Delivery times and charges are set out in our Shipping policy. Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they're delivered.

9. Product information

We work to keep product descriptions, specifications and images accurate. Images may show a representative product, and specifications are typical values unless stated otherwise.

11. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits or downtime, arising from your use of our products or website. This doesn't limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. For goods or services not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use, our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee is limited, where the law allows, to replacing or repairing the goods, supplying equivalent goods, or paying the cost of doing so; or to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.

12. Website content

The content on this website, including text, images, drawings and the Cable Designer, belongs to FibreOnline or its licensors. You may use it to research and buy from us, but not copy or reuse it for other purposes without our permission.
